You know the feeling - using your Mac has become like wading through treacle and if you’re lucky you’ll get a warning that “Your disk is almost full”. Here are three tips to avoid your disk filling up unnecessarily.

Tip 1. Keep your temporary files somewhere you can easily delete them In final cut, set the Cache folder to somewhere other than the library

Tip 2. Don’t let Photos fill up your whole computer You can create a separate volume using APFS and limit how much space it uses.
