newsletter How it all fits together❓ March 2023
The Squares TV App Suite as been growing steadily over the last few months.
In last week’s lab I described everything I’ve made and how it all fits together with this neat little diagram.
Hi, every Wednesday I go live on After Hours for a one hour lab where we discuss all the ways to use my growing suite of iOS and Mac apps.
Join us on Zoom this evening when I will be introducing some new features for Video Pencil and talking to Oliver from Boinx about connecting my apps with his company’s app mimoLive.
It’s time to talk about cameras. But I’m not going to talk about Sony vs Canon vs Nikon vs Blackmagic here. There are loads of YouTubers and bloggers far better qualified to tell you about all the latest gear.
Instead, I’ll give you a bird’s eye view of your different options and how you’d use different cameras with your computer.

I saw Nick Jushchyshyn’s set-up on a recent Office Hours Global stream. He has a very interesting setup for his Zoom calls, as you might expect from a Program Director of Virtual Reality & Immersive Media.
I have three(!) new videos to share with you this week.
The first is the latest interview for Squares TV getting into the details of how Paul Dakeyne produces his DJ streams.
Secondly, I’ve started a new YouTube channel specifically for Shoot tutorials.
