Using Video Pencil For Teaching Sent on 15 March 2023 by Michael Forrest

Hi,

I’m doing my sixth After Hours Lab today, where I’ll be going into detail on some new Video Pencil features and talking about how I do Zoom presentations using the apps I’ve built.

After Hours Lab #6

After Hours is a group Zoom call where people can hang out between Office Hours broadcasts.

I do an hour long lab every week where you can join in on Zoom and ask questions as I go.

You can join by going to https://officehours.global/join-us

And now the there’s a growing archive of all my sessions too!

Nerding Out and Teaching

During last week’s session I went into detail on some of the inner workings of Video Pencil as I’d changed the way Live Titles are drawn onto the screen and I thought it was quite interesting.

I avoided technical jargon and I think it’s interesting, but even if you don’t need to know about the content of the talk, it’s a great showcase for using Video Pencil to teach advaned subjects.

If you can’t make the session itself, I’ll keep sharing highlights as I go, so you don’t have to miss out.

Cheers!
